Brigit Carter, associate dean for diversity and inclusion, recently delivered a presentation at "Escola de Altos Estudos" on Social Determinants and Equity in Nursing and Health Care promoted by the University of Sao Paula at Ribeirao preto College of Nursing Brazil the PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center for Nursing Research Development.

Her presentation focused on racial and ethnic diversification of the health workforce as a strategy to eliminate health inequalities: the leading role of nursing and aldo ono addressing the gap in nursing workforce diversity and social equity.
