Carter Receives UNC Alumna Award

Brigit Carter, associate dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, received an Outstanding Alumna Award from UNC School of Nursing.

brigit carter headshotBrigit Carter, associate dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, received an Outstanding Alumna Award from UNC School of Nursing. This award recognizes a Carolina Nursing graduate who is known for their outstanding service to the field of nursing, either through scholarly efforts in research or teaching, promotion of health care or excellence in patient care and practice. Carter earned her BSN at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in 1998, a Master of Science in Nursing Education from University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2002 and PhD in Nursing from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009.
