Celebrating Reunion Weekend 2019 at DUSON

Duke University School of Nursing (DUSON) will welcome alumni for the annual Nursing Reunion Weekend from April 11 through April 13. Alumni who graduated in years ending in a 4 or 9 are encouraged to come back to reunite, reminisce and reconnect with classmates.

The weekend is full of exciting events from the reunion luncheon hosted by Dean Marion E. Broome, to the reunion awards and recognition program and even a Duke Chapel Climb (if you reserve your spot early)!

During reunion weekend, the School honors notable alumni as well as notable faculty and colleagues for their contributions to the nursing profession, community health and the School. This year’s awardees are:

Distinguished Alumna Award Janet Baker Craig, BSN’64, MSN’66, DHA, MBA, CENP, ELNEC

Lifetime Achievement Award Jacquelyn Campbell, BSN’68, PhD, RN, FAAN

Honorary Alumna Award Lynn Erdman, MN, RN, FAAN and Judith Krebs Snyderman, RN

Trailblazer Award Susan Haynes Little, DNP’17, RN, PHNA-BC, CPHQ, CPM

Clinical Practice Excellence Award Rémi M. Hueckel, MSN’96, DNP’11, CPNP-AC, CHSE, FAANP

Distinguished Contributions to Nursing Science Award Eileen Tomaselli Lake, BSN’81, PhD, FAAN
