The NC AHEC Nurse Council and the NC Community College System invite you to attend "The 2021 Academic Progression Conference: Innovative Approaches to Nursing Education During Uncertain Times." The event's focus will be addressing challenges with alternative teaching strategies, student/faculty engagement, and strategies to promote transition to practice and will be February 4 and 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. This annual event hosted by the NC AHEC Nurse Council and the NC Community College System brings together academic leaders from all levels of nursing education. Participants will examine innovative changes in educational modalities, faculty and student engagement, faculty and student retention, and transition to practice during the current pandemic environment. You and your colleagues have developed phenomenal approaches to educate nursing students during these uncertain times. The goal of this conference is to share these innovations so that educators can incorporate best practices in their instruction and take them into the future.
