Course Design Team Presents at Sakai Virtual Conference

Stephanie Brantley, Nancy Hill and Laura Fogle recently presented at the Sakai Virtual Conference on November 2. The international conference focuses on pedagogy and best practices and draws participants from higher education, business and industry, and continuing education.

Brantley and Fogle presented a session entitled "Easy Tips for Increasing Student Engagement" which highlighted the work of many DUSON faculty from the ABSN, MSN and DNP programs.

Hill's proposal, "Take the Red Pill, Neo: Designing for Sakai 11's Mobile Friendly Environment" highlighted examples of research-based learning activities that can be built with Sakai's new mobile friendly platform. Hill organized the suggestions around Bloom's taxonomy.
