Nancy Crego, assistant professor, recently presented her poster entitled "Prescription Claims Among Medicaid Eligible Children and Young Adults with Sickle Cell Disease in North Carolina" at the American Pain Society's Scientific Meeting in Milwaukee, WI.

The meeting offered a balance of clinical, translational and basic science research around the theme of Combating the Opioid Epidemic through Innovations in the Treatment of Pain.
