Irene Felsman, assistant professor and D-CHIPP faculty affiliate, and Heather Mountz, D-CHIPP coordinator, recently coordinated a virtual training for students interested in assisting during a natural disaster. The 18 ABSN students completed learning modules and example disaster simulations prior to the three-hour online training. The participating students are now certified to become American Red Cross disaster volunteers.
