D-CHIPP Hosts Design Thinking Workshop with Families Moving Forward

The Duke University School of Nursing Community Health Improvement Partnership Program (D-CHIPP) recently hosted a Design Thinking workshop for staff and volunteers at Families Moving Forward (FMF). D-CHIPP Director, Donna Biederman, along with D-CHIPP Advisory Board members Alison Edie, Irene Felsman and Michelle Hartman also participated. During the afternoon, D-CHIPP coordinator and workshop facilitator, Heather Mountz, led a series of activities that challenged participants to think critically and creatively about the challenges faced by the families served by FMF in order to generate new solutions to problems.
