D-CHIPP Hosts Stelfanie Williams at Lunch & Learn

Stelfanie Williams, who joined the office of Durham and Regional Affairs as Duke’s vice president in August 2018, recently spoke to a group of DUSON faculty, staff and Health Equity Academy Scholars. In her role, Williams leads and coordinates Duke’s diverse and innovative community efforts in areas such as economic development, affordable housing, early childhood, K-12 and workforce education, student engagement, neighborhood relations and community health.
She spoke about the strategies they have planned to improve the aforementioned community efforts and ways her office is looking to partner with other Duke departments and schools, including DUSON.
