D-CHIPP Submits Proposal to Emmy Lou Tompkins Foundation

D-CHIPP, together with the DUSON Office of Development, recently submitted a grant proposal to the Emmy Lou Tompkins Foundation. The one-year effort will establish a health education program for the residents at McDougald Terrace, Durham Housing Authority’s (DHA) largest property. D-CHIPP worked with DHA administration to develop the framework for the program that will focus on keeping food safe from household pests and the importance of keeping frequently touched surfaces clean during the COVID-19 pandemic.
