Duke’s Chapter of the American Association for Men in Nursing (DAMMN) recently teamed up with the Durham Boy Scout of America Troup #405 to assist them with their badge requirements for First Aid. DAAMN members and ABSN students Olivia Myszewski and Brian Oh and DAAMN President and ABSN student Anthony Morrow along with DAAMN Past President Nikolas Silva, ABSN'20, along with faculty sponsors and Assistant Professors Stephanie Gedzyk-Nieman and Allen Cadavero coordinated this event to support a total of 18 local boy scouts in obtaining the First Aid Badge, necessary for Eagle Scout.
