Jennie De Gagne, Eun-Ok Im, Wonshik Chee and PhD students Zhao Ni, Lisa Mansfield and Sijia Wei presented at the 29th annual Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Nursing Research Congress in Melbourne, Australia.

De Gagne's presentations were entitled:

  • "Cyberincivility: Nurses and nursing students on Twitter" podium presentation
  • "Social networks and health-promoting lifestyles in Korea older adults" poster presentation

De Gagne moderated three sessions entitled:

  • "Special Session - International Leadership Opportunities"

Im and Chee's presentations were entitled: 

  • "Midwife Women's Health issues" presented by Im

The theme of the conference was innovative global nursing practice and education through research and evidence-based practice. More than 800 nurse researchers, students, clinicians and leaders attend the International Nursing Research Congress each year to learn from evidence-based research presentations.
