Jennie De Gagne, professor, led a nursing education forum on Zoom on July 24 hosted by the Global Korean Nursing Foundation (GKNF)-USA. The forum involved four nursing students from traditional, second-degree, DNP and PhD programs, along with three nurse educators from universities across the United States. The webinar was designed to bring panelists to reflect on their experiences with the coronavirus pandemic and discuss strategies and competencies to look to future nursing education. More than 130 registrants, including faculty, students, and administrators from across the States and South Korea, appreciated the unique feature of the forum that actively engaged students in sharing their creative endeavors to overcome the current pandemic.
