De Gagne Presents at Several Schools and at the SYMHEALTH Conference in India

Jennie De Gagne was invited to Symbiosis College of Nursing located in Pune, India. While there she conducted an interactive session on "Effective Use of Techonology in Nursing Education and Practice" for more than 200 nursing students, nurse educators and faculty.

She was also invited to Vishwa Vidyapeeth School in Bengaluru where she provided a guest lecture on "Innovative Teaching Strategies and Student-centered Learning Environments" on their new faculty orientation day.

She also presented a talk to community health workers on "Facilitating Health Education and Promotion as Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) Workers in Rural India" in a community health center in rural India.

De Gagne also presented a study on "The Effects of the Structured Teaching Program on HIV/AIDS Knowledge and Attitudes among Asian Indian Women in India" at the SYMHEALTH 2017 International Conference on Healthcare in a Globalizing World conference organized by the Faculty of Health and Biomedical Sciences, Symbiosis International University in Pune, India.
