De Gagne Receives Duke Learning Innovation Funding

Jennie De Gagne, professor, recently received research funding from Duke Learning Innovation. Learning Innovation provides grants and funding opportunities for Duke faculty to explore, develop and evaluate innovation in their teaching.
The goal of De Gagne's project is to explore health professions students' formal, informal, and hidden curriculum exposures in terms of what characteristics of pedagogy would make their best and worst learning experiences. A netnographic approach will be used to analyze narratives of students in online forums.
