DEADLINE EXTENDED: Take a Duke AHEAD Survey on Translational Science

DEADLINE EXTENDED: Friday, April 21.

Duke AHEAD Multidisciplinary Education and Research in Translational Sciences (MERITS) is a new educational program developed to support investigators and educators across Duke who work in translational sciences. A focus group conducted by our team demonstrated that translational science has many different meanings. Whether you are an investigator, educator, or don’t consider yourself to be involved in translational science, we would like to hear your thoughts and opinions on what “translational science” means at Duke.

We invite you to participate in the Duke MERITS survey.

Click here to take the survey:  The purpose of this survey is to measure awareness of translational science and interpretations of its meaning. Results from this anonymous survey will be used to assess the current perceptions around translational science, training, and resources, and will serve as a baseline to measure the effect of Duke MERITS and CTSA programs directed at supporting translational science. This survey should take you 10-15 minutes to complete.  This project is supported in part by Duke AHEAD.

 Many thanks for your consideration,

Gayathri Devi, PhD, Associate Professor, Departments of Surgery and Pathology Associate Director, Research Education, Surgery Program Director, Duke MERITS

Ranjan Sudan, MD, Vice Chair of Education Department of Surgery
