Marion E. Broome, dean and Ruby Wilson Professor of Nursing, Duke University School of Nursing; vice chancellor for Nursing Affairs, Duke University; and associate vice president for Academic Affairs for Nursing, Duke University Health System, was invited to be the distinguished speaker at the 7th Serena Yang Lecture for the topic "Innovation in Nursing: Health Care Analysis & Embracing Change in Education, Research and Practice." Broome examined how the current healthcare trends would influence how professional nurses practice in the near future.
