Dean's Message: Join DUSON In a Community Building Opportunity!

Duke University School of Nursing is joining Duke Health and Duke University to raise money for the March of Dimes. This year, DUSON will participate in the 2016 Triangle March for Babies Walk & 5K on April 30, 2016 in Perimeter Park in Morrisville, N.C.

In 2014, the March of Dimes invested more than $2.5 million in grants to Duke University and Duke Health.  By joining together, we can help the March of Dimes continue to fund vital research and education programs needed to address the issue of premature birth – the number one killer of children under the age of five.

Our Goal

The School of Nursing has set a goal to raise $10,000. However, as we raise money to support a new generation of research and promise, we want to have a little competitive fun! Therefore, our $10,000 goal will be divided into three teams: DUSON Faculty, DUSON Staff, and DUSON Students. Each team will have a goal to raise $3,334.

Our Teams

We’re asking faculty, staff and students to sign up, raise money and walk. Click on the respective links below and click “Join this Team.” If you already have participated in a March of Dimes event  and have a username and a password, sign into your account. If you are a new user, sign up to create your account.
