DEFT Team Selected for DIHI RFA 2021 Finalist

doreen matters headshotcristina hendrixCongratulations to the Duke Elder Family/Caregiver Training (DEFT) Center team on being selected as a finalist for the DIHI RFA 2021 application. In February, the team will present virtually to Duke Health leadership regarding their innovation: “CLARE: A Digital Caregiver Companion." Involved are Cristina Hendrix, DEFT center director and associate professor, Sarah Vega, DEFT staff specialist, and Doreen Matters, DEFT program director. 

The DEFT program is funded by The Duke Endowment to educate, train and support caregivers of elder patients transitioning home from a hospital stay.
