DeGagne to Speak at Helen S. Miller Lectureship and Luncheon
Jennie DeGagne will be the keynote speaker of the North Carolina Central University (NCCU) Department of Nursing's 22nd Annual Helen S. Miller Lectureship and Luncheon. DeGagne will be speaking on the topic "Information Technology in Nursing Education: The Challenges and Opportunities."
The lectureship and luncheon will take place on March 1 from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the New Nursing Building on NCCU's campus.
The Helen S. Miller Lectureship honors the former NCCU nursing department chair and associate professor of nursing research, who served from 1957 to 1982. She was the first African-American to receive gubernatorial appointment to the N.C. Board of Nursing. The lectureship carries on Miller’s legacy of nursing excellence while celebrating her life and accomplishments.
