DENS Host Emergency Nursing Meeting

The Duke Emergency Nursing Students (DENS) recently hosted a meeting at the Andrews Center in Raleigh with the Cardinal and Heart of Carolina Chapters of the national organization as part of the TurnTheTideNC event held at DUSON with Kathie Carlson, 2016 president of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA).

The meeting included presentations on emergency stroke care, sickle cell crisis and an update on ENA initiatives by Carlson.
