elizabeth rodriguezElizabeth Rodriguez, DNP'10, was profiled in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's "Women Leaders at MSK: Elizabeth Rodriguez" profile. Rodriguez is director of nursing for the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care. Her contributions were central to MSK’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Early on, she focused on ramping up remote work capabilities and telemedicine efforts in order to support staff and deliver care to patients. She also played a key leadership role in the HICS structure to help oversee clinical operations and was integral to restoring clinical operations and planning for the anticipated surge in COVID cases in the fall of 2020.

“When I look back, graduating from Duke is one of my proudest achievements,” she said. “It was very challenging to pursue this degree while pregnant, then caring for my infant daughter who was born in the first third of the program, and working full time at MSK, but I did it. And I give a lot of credit to my husband who helped me through it.”
