Colonel Edward Yackel (DNP ‘13) retired this month after 30 years of active duty in the U.S. Army. He was appointed as the Deputy Executive Director of the National Patient Safety Program for the Veterans Health Administration. The chair of his DNP project was Dr Nancy Short.
