DNP and MSN alumna Mary Ann Fuchs, chief nursing and patient care services officer, Duke University Hospital and Health System, was recently a guest speaker at the 2018 Graduate Nursing Student Academy (GNSA) Conference, Seizing the Opportunity to Lead and Shape the Future of Health Care in Atlanta, GA. She presented on "Transition to Leadership," with other nursing leaders. The conference was aimed at graduate nursing students at all levels and featured sessions focused on professional development, advanced practice nursing, leadership development, mentoring and nursing innovation.
