DNP Programs Hosts Virtual Sessions

dnp ociThe DNP Program held its virtual series of fall sessions from October 5 to 7. These sessions are traditionally held on campus but were moved to a virtual format this year.

Katherine C. Pereira, DNP Program assistant dean, and Jennifer Meyer Dare, DNP Program coordinator, Sr., welcomed all the program's students through a Zoom session at 9:30 a.m. on October 5. 

The Dean's Collaboratory for DNP and PhD students was held Monday at 12:30 p.m. The session was guided by Dean Marion E. Broome, Pereira and Sharron L. Docherty, assistant dean in the PhD in Nursing Program.

The series also consisted of several lectures, presentations and activities that covered evidence-based practice, effective leadership skills, advanced decision-making in health care setting, methods to evaluate health care practices, transforming the nation's health and more. 

The series ended with a DNP Happy Hour at 5 p.m. October 7.
