DNP Student Bogue's Project Used In Coral Spring Article

DNP student Kate Bogue recently wrote an op-ed as part of her N962 course. Bogue's work was mentioned in an article entitled "Coral Springs Youth Soccer League Becomes Heart Health Advocates Thanks to Local Parent" in the Coral Springs Talk in Florida. Bogue works with Coral Springs Youth Soccer League to increase awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest and put an emergency action plan in place.

Bogue's inspiration comes from her six-year-old daughter being diagnosed with a congenital heart problem in 2016 that could have caused her to suddenly collapse on the soccer field she frequented at any given time.
