DUHS's Allen Participates in 2018 TIDIRC
Deborah (Hutch) Allen, director of nursing research and evidence-based practice, Duke University Health System was recently selected to participate in the 2018 Training Institute for Dissemination and Implementation Research in Cancer (TIDIRC) supported by the National Cancer Institute. The institute will utilize a combination of a four-month online course (six modules with related assignments) between March 15 and June 29, 2018, and a two-day in-person training to be held July 9 and 10, 2018, in Bethesda, MD. Faculty and guest lecturers will consist of leading experts in theory, implementation and evaluation approaches to D&I; creating partnerships and multilevel, transdisciplinary research teams; research design, methods and analyses appropriate for D&I; and conducting research at different and multiple levels of intervention (e.g., clinical, community, policy).
