Duke Department of Population Health Presents Augmented Intelligence Health Initiative

The Duke University School of Medicine Department of Population Health Sciences Presents Dr. Larry Carin, vice president for Research at Duke University on Wednesday, September 11 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 200 Morris Street, CR 1200, first floor. Light refreshments will be served.

In the presentation Carin will discuss the Augmented Intelligence (AI) Health Initiative and the new endeavor harnesses data science and machine learning to find ways to improve clinical care. Carin has been a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Duke University for the past 22 years, and has served as the vice provost for research for over three years. He is one of the most widely published machine learning researchers in the world.
