Duke EcoStrong: Next Step

Duke University School of Nursing is striving to be sustainability minded! We are asking that each of our workgroups, offices and centers take the next step to be more sustainable. The Green Workplace Certification will help reduce waste, water and energy in your workplace!

Sustainable Duke is offering the Next Step Challenge, a workplace competition!

The Next Step Challenge starts on March 15 and runs until April 20. Complete Green Workplace Certification by April 20 to be entered into a raffle for the chance to win $1,000 to go towards making your workplace more sustainable! The secondary drawing will win $500 for their workplace and the third-place drawing will win sustainability swag for their entire department. The winners will be announced on April 22, the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day!

Celebrate this historic Earth Day by reducing waste, water, and energy in your department. The wellness category in the Certification will encourage your entire department to make healthier choices for themselves and for the planet. Please email Rebecca.hoeffler@duke.edu for more information.
