Duke PhD Students Join UNC Students for TED-Style Event

PhD students Rachel Hirschey, Lisa Mansfield, Zhao Ni, Jing Wang, and Ethan Cicero joined UNC Chapel Hill PhD students for the annual UNC-Duke PhD Faculty & Student Networking Event. The TED-style event was held at The Carolina Club in Chapel Hill.
The DUSON presentations included:
- Hirschey on "Narrative Communication: An Exercise Intervention Created with and for Breast Cancer Survivors,"
- Mansfield on "A Vaccine to Prevent Cancer,"
- Ni on "A Mobile Technology Program in Fighting Against Heart Disease,"
- Wang on "Are You Still You After Being Diagnosed with Dementia," and
- Cicero on "Let's Talk about Sex (and Gender)."
