: We are living in an increasingly data driven world, with policies increasingly promoting data sharing. What data sharing is ok? When is it too much? Is deidentification a “reassuring myth?” Does sensitive data (e.g. psychiatric disorders, substance abuse data) change the answer? Is it ok to share it with government agencies to analyze for improved population health? What about companies to analyze for improved patient outcomes? Well it depends…
