DUSON and Duke Nicholas School of Environment Presents Research Connections: Collaborating at Duke
Join Duke Nicholas School of the Environment and Duke University School of Nursing for Research Connections: Collaborating @ Duke! This three-part series addresses the intersection of environment and health equity and will begin with a lunch and learn on September 24, from 12 to 1 p.m. in Pearson 1026.
Part One: Durham Neighborhood Compass will feature introductions from Rosa Gonzalez-Guarda, associate professor; and Bryan Luukinen, Nicholas School of the Environment. The speaker for the event is Pamela Maxson, director of operations for Duke Center for Community and Populaton Health Improvement.
Participants will learn how to use the Durham Neighborhood Compass in grant proposals, research, education and programs. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with colleagues from the different schools and learn about possible synergies for research.
