Several students, alumni, staff and faculty were interviewed for Duke Magazine's "Partnership allowed more nursing help" article by Scott Huler for the Spring 2021 issue: Dean Marion E. Broome, Diane Uzarski, chief of staff, ABSN students Kim Coston and Anthony Morrow, Cate MacQueen, ABSN'20, Assistant Professors Staci Reynolds and Irene Felsman, Associate Professors Midge Bowers and Rémi Hueckel, and Mary Ann Fuchs, associate dean of clinical affairs and vice president of Patient Care & System Chief Nurse Executive, Duke Health. The article discussed DUSON's multi-faceted response to the pandemic and the role our ongoing partnership with Duke Health System played, including allowing eligible students to serve as Patient Services Aides.
