DUSON Faculty Present at National Nurse Educator Summit

A large showing of DUSON faculty members recently presented at the National Nurse Educator Summit in Salt Lake City, sponsored by ATI Nursing. The National Nurse Educator Summit features nursing professionals from across the country who share a passion for education and lifelong learning.

Faculty members who presented: 

Marilyn Oermann presented a pre-conference workshop on publishing journal articles and also conducted a session entitled "Are Nurse Faculty Prepared for their Role?" 

Beth Phillips presented a podium presentation entitled "Interprofessional Education." 

Terry Valiga was the keynote speaker presenting on "A Bold and Daring Call to Action: It's Up to US to Create the Ideal Future for Nursing Education." 

Kathryn Evans Kreider presented a podium presentation entitled "Emotional Intelligence in Nursing Education and Practice." 

Helen Gordon and Brigit Carter presented a poster presentation entitled "The Identification and Intervention of High-Risk Students to Pass NCLEX."
