DUSON Faculty, Staff and Students Lead Health Screening Workshop at El Centro Hispano

Rosa Solorzano, consulting associate; Irene Felsman, associate professor; and students from the N565 Medical Spanish class recently led a one-hour workshop at El Centro Hispano. The workshop aimed to train more than 20 El Centro Hispano staff on screening for blood pressure and body mass index.

There are plans to conduct a second workshop for motivational interviewing and training for screening on HbA1c.
