DUSON Health Corner: Managing Stress by Managing Tasks
July 24, 2017
With so many projects and requests coming at us each day, knowing which ones are critical to focus on can help deal with the stress of information overload. Spend the first 15 minutes of each day identifying to 6-9 key tasks that need to be accomplished that day. Then spend the last 15 minutes of the day checking yourself against that list and tying up loose ends.
This approach can help you feel a bit more in control of your workflow, ensure you accomplish the critical tasks to meet deadlines, and reduce the sense of being overwhelmed by requests and competing assignments.
