DUSON Receives $650,000 from Helene Fuld Health Trust

Duke University School of Nursing received a $650,000 grant on November 7, 2018 from the Helene Fuld Health Care Trust.
Funds from the Helene Fuld Health Care Trust grant will be used to increase their support of scholarships for students enrolled in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Scholarships are among the school’s greatest needs and are essential in allowing the school to attract the best and brightest students, regardless of financial constraints.
The Helene Fuld Health Care Trust is the largest charitable trust in the nation devoted exclusively to supporting student nurses and nursing education. Their relationship with the School of Nursing spans over two decades with contributions totaling over $7 million to the support of educating future nursing leaders.
The Trust was established in 1951 and awards grants to leading nursing schools and other organizations developing innovative programs designed to develop and expand the professional and leadership skills of nursing students, faculty and administration.
