DUSON was represented at the INACSL (International Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning) Virtual Conference.

Margie Molloy, associate professor, led professor rounds on June 17 and co-authored and co-presented the podium presentation, "The Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice™: A Discussion of The New and Revised Standards/ Closing Remarks," on June 18. She joined a group of simulation educators in introducing the newly revised Simulation Standards. These are now referred to as "The Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice™: A Discussion of The New and Revised Standards" with an broader appeal for an interprofessional simulation audience. 

The Center for Nursing Discovery participated in two events:

  1. Danett Cantey, clinical nurse educator, presented first podium presentation, "Virtual Lab Hours for Clinical Skills in Pre-Licensure Nursing Students: Designing, Managing and Lessons Learned."
  2. Raymond Brisson III, technical operations coordinator, Tiffiany Parker, simulation technology specialist, Rémi Hueckel, associate professor, and Nikki Blodgett, CND director, presented RB/TP = first poster presentation, "Ultrasound-Ready Ballistic Gel Trainer for Advanced Nursing Psychomotor Skills."
