DUSON Student Council Organize Visit to Caring House

The DUSON Student Council recently organized a visit to the Caring House to cook a meal for the families and caregivers staying there. Caring House, located in Durham, provides patients at Duke Cancer Institute with peace of mind providing affordable housing, a healing environment, and a positive and supportive community.

Volunteers included Terri Demartino, research program leader, and students Erica Richmond, Shema Gordon, Heather O'Donohue, Katie McLaughlin, and Julia Suman (pictured left to right).
