DUSON Welcomes Barnett and Schneider

Duke University School of Nursing welcomes Nichol Barnett and Janene Schneider to the DUSON family. Both will join the School of Nursing Development Team.

Effective March 1, Barnett will serve as the new gift officer II. She joins DUSON from the Duke Lemur Center where she was the development officer and education manager. Barnett has more than six years in fundraising experience, and received her degree in social and behavioral science from Arizona State University .

Effective March 14, Schneider will serve as the new director of Alumni Relations and Annual Programs. She joins DUSON from the Franklin Academy School in Wake Forest. Schneider served as a guest lecturer in the School's DNP program from 2012 to 2016. She has a masters of acts in communication and has a background in events and program development.
