DUSON Welcomes Kennicott as New Wellness Coordinator

On Feb. 1, Cassandra Callas will be leaving Duke LIVE FOR LIFE and her role coordinating DUSON’s wellness program to pursue her goal of teaching English to students in South Korea. Callas has done a wonderful job helping to build offerings that include yoga, strength and self-defense classes, massage days, relaxation room opportunities, the sit-stand workstation program, convincing the Duke mobile farmers market to put its medical center location at Pearson and many more!  Please join us in thanking Callas for her significant contribution to the wellness of DUSON and wishing her all our best.

Transitioning to the DUSON Wellness Coordinator position will be Christian Kennicott. Some of you know Kennicott as our strength class instructor. He earned his bachelor degree as a Health Fitness Specialist from East Carolina University and led wellness initiatives at Cisco before joining Duke as a Fitness Specialist with the LIVE FOR LIFE team. Kennicott will formally assume his new responsibilities on Feb. 1, but has already begun transitioning knowledge and duties from Callas.

Please join us in welcoming Kennicott to DUSON!
