DUSON Welcomes Masese and Burgos

Duke University School of Nursing welcomes Rita Masese and Erika Burgos!

Masese joined DUSON as a clinical research coordinator with the Sickle Cell Disease Implementation Consortium. Her responsibilities include medical record abstraction, manuscript writing and participant recruitment. She recently graduated from Duke's Global Health program and previously worked as a physician in Kenya before moving to the US.

Her office is located in Rutherford 136.

Burgos will join the DUSON team as the administrative assistant to the Dean. She and her family recently relocated to the Triangle from Memphis, TN, where she supported the Senior VP of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Burgos brings a strong and broad administrative skill set, customer service experience, professionalism and energetic and warm personality.
