DUSON Wellness: Free Health Assessment, Duke Run/Walk Club and More!

RUN/WALK CLUB BEGINS AUGUST 13

The Duke Run/Walk Club is designed to help you meet your health and fitness goals, whether you're a beginner walker or an experienced runner training for a race. Offered each Spring and Fall, the club is a no-fee, 12-week program for all Duke faculty and staff at all fitness levels. Register now!

RELAXATION ROOM

Wednesday, August 15 from 12 until 4 p.m. in Pearson 3023, come and ease your mind in the relaxation room. Taking intentional breaks can help sustain energy, enhance mood and improve your ability to cope with challenges. We need volunteers to help set up/break down the room – please sign up here.

HEALTH ASSESSMENT

Get a free snapshot of your health with LIVE FOR LIFE’s Health Assessment! Have your total cholesterol, blood pressure, blood glucose, weight and BMI measured, and talk with an RN about opportunities to set and reach goals. Monday, August 13 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Duke Medicine Pavilion.

NO YOGA OR STRENGTH CLASSES THIS WEEK

To give our instructors a mini “summer break,” we will not have yoga or strength classes this week. Both yoga and strength will resume again the week of August 20!
