Faculty Advancement and Success Workshop Series

Faculty Advancement and Success Workshop Series

The Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement hosts the Faculty Advancement and Success Workshop Series, which provides learning opportunities, resources, and networking for all faculty at Duke. Each month, faculty meet with their peers, experts, and key campus leaders to discuss and engage with issues and opportunities relevant to their professional development and advancement.

This month's meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 29, from 12 to 3 pm at Gray Building 229 (York Reading Room). In this session on student engagement, faculty will work to incorporate strategies to help them optimize their ability to instruct, assess, and connect with students of all disciplines and backgrounds in different learning spaces. The session will examine situations that may arise with students in classrooms and labs, and give faculty the opportunity to develop skills that will promote the academic success of all students.
