Faculty members Benjamin Smallheer, Brett Morgan, Frank Titch, Chris Muckler and staff member Michele Kuszajewski travelled to Western Norway University to continue collaborations between the universities nurse anesthesia and acute care NP programs. Their goal was to work on developing joint aproaches to improve perioperative and critical care patient safety through nursing education and inter professional simulation. While in Norway, their activities included curriculum consultation on advanced physical assesment, team based learning and simulation. Additionaly, the team will meet to discuss grant submissions to Norwegian funding sources to support future work.
