Faculty members, Rosa Gonzalez-Guarda and Margaret Bowers and associate Rosa Solorzano were joined by students in providing screening for 88 Hispanic participants with El Centro Hispano. The screenings included blood pressure, BMI and glucose. 

Solorzano and Irene Felsman were key players in the planning of the event.
