Felsman Receives The Jerry Nance Community Service Award

The Durham-Orange County Medical Society (DOCMS) recognizes the community's unsung volunteer heroes who meaningfully improve the health and well-being in these counties. Irene Felsman, assistant professor, was recently named a recipient of The Jerry Nance Community Service award.

Ms. Nance was the first executive director of the DOCMS who believed passionately in serving the community and supported physicians in the area for many years. It is a special award to the leadership of the DOCMS and they are pleased to recognize Felsman's excellent work.

Felsman received this award at the DOCMS holiday meeting at The University Club.
