Cristina Hendrix was recently named the chair of the Clinical Health Systems & Analytics Division effective July 1. Hendrix joined DUSON in 2002 and is currently an associate professor with tenure. While she has been spending 50 percent of her position fulfilling a joint appointment at the Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center of the Durham VA Health Sciences Center, Hendrix will transition this summer to having her position 100 percent time with DUSON.

Hendrix will be the second division chair for Division III, following Terry Valiga who is retiring later this summer.
