Cristina Hendrix, associate professor, recently delivered a presentation entitled "Care for the Caregiver" at the Duke Alumni Reunion Weekend at the Westbrook Building, Duke Divinity School.

Co-presenting with Dr. Hendrix was Mr. Steve Ornat, a caregiver who participated in the Duke Elder Family/Caregiver Training (DEFT) program. The highly interactive discussion examined the unique needs of caregiving and the importance of caring for one’s self in order to effectively care for others.
