Marilyn Hockenberry was recently selected as one of 19 nurse researchers inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International's International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame. She will be presented with the award at the 27th International Nursing Research Congress in Cape Town, South Africa in July. Created in 2010, the Hall of Fame recognizes nurse researchers who have achieved significant and sustained national or international recognition and whose research has improved the profession and the people it serves.

Hockenberry joins other nurse researchers representing the countries of Canada, England, Lebanon, South Africa, Taiwan, and the United states.
